Michelle Gervais
Michelle Gervais is an experienced emergency management and public safety professional whose extensive experience came from working alongside First Nations, Municipal, Provincial and Federal partners prior to, during and following emergencies. Previously, she served as a Deputy Fire Chief, EM Special Advisor to the Grand Chief of Nishnawbe Aski Nation, a firefighter, a flight paramedic with Ornge and as a land paramedic.
Michelle has completed overseas emergency responses with NGOs in addition to preforming various roles for both complex and simple emergencies at the local, Provincial and Federal level. With these experiences, Michelle shares her acquired knowledge and expertise with various stakeholders, having “coffee and conversations” to help others increase their resiliency.
